Open any study set from Learning. The tabs across the top are Content, Podcast, Cards, Quiz, Notes, Study guide, Tutor, and Games. You only see the tabs for the methods you generated.
Review flashcards
- Open the Cards tab.
- Read the front, say your answer out loud or in your head, then tap anywhere to flip.
- Be honest: tap I knew it or Still learning.
- Use Previous and Next to move around. At the end, tap Study again to go another round, or Done.
Trying to recall before you flip is the point. Rereading feels productive, but testing yourself is what makes material stick.
Take a quiz
- Open the Quiz tab (quizzes are a Premium method).
- Answer the question and tap Submit answer. Each answer is checked right away.
- Move on with Next, and tap Done after the last question.
- On the results screen, tap View breakdown to see what you missed, or Redo quiz to try again.
Short and long written answers are checked against the key idea of the expected answer, so a correct answer in your own words usually counts. If you think a marking is wrong, compare your answer with the breakdown.
Play games
The Games tab has two games built from your vocabulary. In Match, pair each term with its definition. In Word Guess, find the term from its clue. Tap Restart game to shuffle and play again.
Listen to the podcast
The Podcast tab plays a conversation between two hosts about your material. It is useful on a walk or a bus ride. Free accounts get 40 podcast voice lines a day; Premium gets 500.
Ask the tutor
The Tutor tab answers questions using the material in that set, so it uses your class's terms and examples. Each tutor message uses one of your daily AI uses.
A simple plan
- Skim the Study guide once.
- Do the Cards until most are "I knew it."
- Take the Quiz, read the breakdown, and redo it a day or two later.
