BrainBoost has two writing tools in one sheet. Detect estimates how AI-like a piece of writing reads. Humanize rewrites text in a clearer, more natural voice.
Open the tools
- On a computer, click AI Detector or AI Humanizer in the sidebar.
- Anywhere, tap + in the AI Chat composer and choose AI Detector or AI Humanizer.
Both open the Detector & Humanizer sheet with Detect and Humanize tabs.
Check writing with the detector
- Choose the Detect tab.
- Paste or type your text (at least 150 characters), or tap Paste.
- Tap Detect and read the Detection result.
Results are estimates of writing style, not proof of who wrote something. No detector is fully reliable, and a score should never be the only basis for an academic decision.
Rewrite with the humanizer
- Choose the Humanize tab and paste your text (at least 150 characters).
- Set Level (Same or Simpler) and Length (Same or Shorter).
- Tap Humanize and compare the Humanized rewrite with your original.
Keep the parts that sound like you and change the rest. The best use is on a draft you wrote: smoothing repetitive sentences, varying rhythm, and cutting filler.
Limits
- Free: AI Detector 2 times a day; AI Humanizer once a day, up to 300 words.
- Premium: 50 times a day each, up to 5,000 words.
Academic integrity
Turning in AI-written work as your own can break your school's rules. Use these tools to improve writing you did yourself, and check each class's policy on AI.
