What is BrainBoost?
BrainBoost: AI Study Assistant is an app for students. It answers homework questions step by step in AI Chat, reads problems from a photo, turns your notes into study sets with flashcards, quizzes, and a podcast, and includes writing tools and a Premium voice tutor. It is made by BrainBoost AI LLC.
Is BrainBoost free?
Yes. The free plan includes AI Chat on the Auto model, study sets, flashcards, the podcast, and the writing tools, with daily limits. Premium raises the limits and adds features such as Voice Tutor, quizzes, every top model, and no ads. See Pricing.
How much does Premium cost?
In the U.S., Premium is $5.99 a week, $19.99 a month, or $149.99 a year. Prices on iPhone may be shown in your local currency, and tax may apply. Full details are on the Pricing page.
Where can I use BrainBoost?
In any modern browser at brainbooststudy.com, and in the iPhone app from the App Store. The same account works on both.
Do I need an account?
No. You can choose Continue without account to try it as a guest. Signing in with Apple, Google, or email saves your work to your account so it follows you between devices. Buying Premium on the web requires an account.
Can BrainBoost scan my homework?
On iPhone, the Scan tab reads a problem from a photo and solves it step by step. On the web, attach a photo or file to a chat message with the + button. See Scan homework and add photos or files.
What can I make a study set from?
Photos, PDF and Word files, plain text, web links, YouTube videos with captions, and lecture audio. See How to create a study set.
Is it cheating to use BrainBoost?
It depends on how you use it and on your school's rules. BrainBoost is built to explain steps so you can learn the method. Check each class's policy on AI tools, and do not turn in AI-written work as your own.
Are the answers always right?
No. AI can make mistakes. Answers show their steps so you can follow and check them, and answers about current events link to their sources. Check final answers on anything graded.
Does BrainBoost show ads?
Free users may see ads, for example sponsored cards in the iPhone app and optional rewarded videos that earn bonus uses. In the web app, ads load only if you choose Accept in the cookie notice. Our public help center and FAQ pages show Google ads unless you chose Essential only, are signed in with Premium in that browser, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Premium members do not see ads, and there are no ads inside class features.
How do I cancel Premium?
Open Profile, then Settings, then Manage subscription. On the web that opens the Stripe customer portal; on iPhone it opens your Apple subscriptions. You keep Premium until the end of the paid period. See Premium, billing, and canceling.
How do I delete my account?
Open Profile, then Settings, then Delete account, and confirm. This removes your account and the personal cloud data linked to it. See Your account, privacy, and data.
Who can see my chats?
Your chats and study sets are private to your account unless you choose to share them. Our Privacy Policy explains what we store, why, and for how long.
How old do I have to be?
You must be at least 13 to use BrainBoost. Our Terms of Service have the details.
Is there a plan for teachers or schools?
Yes. BrainBoost for Schools has a Teacher plan and a School license, and teachers can set up to 3 classes free to try the tools. Prices are on the Pricing page.
